Delivery Terms

Fab Flooring offers a standard delivery service where most goods are delivered within 7-10 working days. Some carpets can take longer please check with us.

Orders for carpets,flooring and underlay incur a subsidised delivery charge of £55.00.Our standard delivery covers Mainland UK, however there is a surcharge for deliveries to Scotland.We will deliver to non mainland UK destinations but please call us for surcharge prices before you decide to order from us.

Deliveries are made by our dedicated transport company who will book in a delivery date direct with our customers.Unfortunately requests for an E.T.A. (Estimated time of arrival) are at the couriers discretion. If your order arrives as arranged but we are unable to deliver because you are not home, or there is inadequate help available to offload you will be liable for any additional costs incurred for refusal and redelivery.

Our standard delivery service is made to ‘Kerb side’ due to insurance guidelines so please arrange for adequate help to off load your goods.Although we state to "kerb side" our agreement with our dedicated transport company is that providing there is assistance at the property all carpets are delivered in to the property or garage. Your delivery could be made on a lorry so it is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible by an 18Tonne vehicle 12m long and 4m in height. If there is a likely problem, e.g. the road is subject to a vehicle weight or width restriction or parking, it is within a time zone restriction; please inform us at the time of order so we can discuss alternative delivery options.

Fab Flooring has teamed up with reliable delivery partners to ensure delivery service levels are maintained. However, very occasionally damage may occur during the transportation of goods which we apologise for in advance. Therefore it is important to check and sign for your order on arrival. If you are unfortunate to receive damaged or missing items please make sure it is noted on the couriers paperwork. We also strongly suggest that you contact us direct as soon as possible to make sure we aware of the problem. We cannot be responsible for any consequential losses after delivery has been signed for. Therefore we advise against booking installers until goods have arrived and been checked,where goods are refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on return we reserve the right to pass on any carriage charges that we incur in returning the goods to us. Whilst delivery dates are given in good faith they are not guaranteed and Fab Flooring hereby excludes liability for any loss or damage caused by any delay in completing the contract and the customer shall not be entitled to treat the contract as repudiated or deduct monies or be entitled to compensation.

Carpets & Flooring

Customers are responsible for checking they have received the correct products,free from damage or faults.Once flooring products have been fitted we will not be responsible for any products subsequently found to be incorrect,faults or damage subsequently found it is therefore very important that products are checked thoroughly prior to fitting. If you have ordered carpets please note that as soon as the fitter cuts in to the carpet we cannot accept any claim for any faults it is therefore very important that carpets are checked thoroughly prior to cutting,the fitter is the last line in quality control. Please note that there  is no guaranteed colour match between different widths of carpet as different widths are made from different dye batches. All carpets are quality contol checked but if you do receive a carpet that has a fault please contact us immediately in order that we can resolve the problem for you,the normal turn around for collecting a faulty carpet, inspecting it and replacing it is 14-21 working days. Please note your fitter should not cut in to the carpet or start to fit it as we will then be unable to assist you with a replacement piece of carpet. Fab Flooring hereby excludes liability for any loss or damage caused by any delay in completing the contract and the customer shall not be  entitled to treat the contract as repudiated or deduct monies or be entitled to compensation. Please note we do not sell seconds any manufacturuer label stating secondary is the description of the standard secondary backing.The minimum order quantity for carpets is 1.50m in length x whichever standard width the carpet is available in.

All prices quoted on our website are for supply only however we do offer a full estimating and fitting service as well,either call in to our showroom or give us a call to enquire about prices for a full estimating,supply and fit service.


Fab Flooring provides a fitting service which is location dependant (usually within a 20 mile radius form us at SG17 5HQ),please check with us if we cover your area.

Refunds & Returns

You have the right to cancel and return your order,if unopened and in original packaging up to 7 working days after receiving your order (known as 7 day cooling off period). All monies including any delivery cost charged will be refunded if cancelled within the 7 day cooling off period. You are however responsible for all costs incurred for returns by your chosen carrier if you have cancelled an order.

You must contact us in writing prior to returning your order and obtain a return/cancellation reference number, you can do this by e-mail or by writing to Customer Services at unit 9c Old Bridge Way, Shefford Industrial Park, Shefford, Beds, SG17 5HQ.

Certain items are excluded from our returns policy,these items include flooring that has been specifically cut to size such as carpets or custom made. If you are unsure of whether the items you are intending to purchase are included in our 7 day return policy please contact us before ordering. We do not accept the return of part orders.

Refunds will be made to the payment card that was initially used to make the purchase and will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Please review your order form to confirm you have ordered the correct goods to avoid any misunderstanding. Paid orders that are cancelled less than 24 hours before delivery will incur a 5% administration charge and possibly a delivery charge if the goods have already been dispatched. Delivery costs can only be refunded if the return is due to an error on our part.

Telephone Orders

Any telephone orders where a credit card or business debit card  is used will be subject to a surcharge of 1.35%.No surcharge will apply to any other debit cards or bacs payments.
